Asa Hutchinson, former Under Secretary for Border & Transportation Security, has been dubbed by many citizens and media sources as the passive-aggressive villain who made illegal immigration an uncontrolled frenzy with a hidden agenda dictated by a pro-illegal alien Bush administration, starving for low wages to pay-back campaign donors. Hutchinson, under pressure from Congressman Joe Baca, shut down interior enforcement of immigration law after Border Patrol agents successfully detained and deported over 400 illegal aliens in two days back in June 2004 in California's Inland Empire. Hutchinson tried to double-talk his way out of an obvious public relations capitulation but does defend all illegal aliens as "hard-working people" who cannot be profiled in violation of civil rights laws, when in fact the Border Patrol worked on federally approved intelligence information and all detainees could not prove legal residential status with visas, green cards, etc. In an interview, Hutchinson implied that the American people have no vested interest in securing the Mexican border or deporting illegal aliens, as internal sweeps are "not realistic" (please see Washington Times news article).
We encourage all surfers to contact Homeland Security at:

and stipulate that the mistakes of Asa Hutchinson cannot be repeated or there will be more high-volume pressure from the public and the media as well and consequences in 2006 and 2008 to future Republican candidates who don't come clean on immigration issues. White House information is also provided; thanks to your continued pressure and scrutiny of Homeland Security, Hutchinson has resigned. Inside sources indicate those of us in the "John and Ken" audience, who bombarded Hutchinson with e-mails, phone calls, and brought him to a near-nervous-breakdown at the Temecula town hall meeting are most responsible for his decision. But we need to keep the momentum going and press the new Secretary and Under Secretary. Contact information here and on sister Web sites will always be updated as public officials are known to try and elude their constituents.
